DCA Creator / Teacher (AIDTA, APTD) / Choreographer
18 years ago I started teaching a handful of eager children and thankfully it just took off and grew from there! Performing arts and being with children was the lifestyle I always wanted. I just continuously strive to bring the best I can to Dance Craze, Party Craze and English Craze. I am in my element!
I am a qualified teacher with the International Dance Teachers’ Association, The Professional Teachers of Dancing and a qualified nursery nurse. I have training in RAD and the ISTD method and spent three months in South Africa on a dance placement. Every year I continue to update my dance qualifications through private tuition from IDTA Examiner’s. I then pass it on to my teachers!
Hosting parties, teaching English through performing arts and renting costumes was just a natural development of the dance school. Customers wanted it, and I loved doing it!
I believe that this world I have created should be non-competitive. I believe that we should encourage, build confidence and help children find themselves and reach their full potential. Exams and shows are all positive experiences and my school has a family feel, that I love very much.
Dance Teacher / Choreographer
I lived in England and have taught in international environments for many years. I was mad about dance ever since I started as a child. By the time I was in my teens I spent every day after school and all weekends in the dance studio!
As you can imagine it wasn’t long until I was assisting my teachers in class and as soon as I could I was into teacher training college. I was one of the lucky ones I knew from dot one what I wanted!
I trained in many different disciplines and I am also a qualified pilates teacher. I have taught for many schools including 3 years at the French School of Budapest where I was in charge of choreographing for shows, street jazz and ball room classes.
I joined DCA in 2014. I host the birthday parties, teach lots of different classes and I also teach on camp. We make a great team!
