At our Academy, we offer a comprehensive and fully personalised teacher training programme, carefully designed to support aspiring dance and performing arts students and teachers at every stage of their journey.
We are proud to offer recognised, industry-respected qualifications up to Diploma 6 through two leading awarding bodies:

All training is tailor-made to the individual, allowing students to progress at their own pace and in alignment with their goals and experience..

➥Level 3 Diplomas:
Equivalent to A-Levels, the Level 3 diploma prepares students for a teaching assistant role in dance or performing arts settings. Students begin developing practical teaching skills, class management, and communication techniques while gaining deeper knowledge of technique and syllabus work.
These qualifications carry valuable UCAS points, supporting university or conservatoire applications.

➥Level 4 Diplomas:
The Level 4 diploma takes students further into independent teaching, and qualifies you to professionally teach . You will dive deep into the practical and academic side into what to teach , when to teach and how to teach. You will come out feeling very confident and knowledgeable ready to teach your own classes.

➥Level 6 Diploma:
This is a degree-equivalent qualification that builds on your knowledge . It involves in-depth research, creative projects, and advanced technical understanding enabling you to teach to a higher level.

Level 3 Diploma
➥Minimum age: 15 years
➥Applicants should be working at IDTA Intermediate level or an equivalent standard in their chosen dance or performing arts subject.

Level 4 Diploma
➥Minimum age: 17 years
➥Must have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Level 6 Diploma
➥Applicants must have completed the Level 4 Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

This is an ideal starting point for teens or those not yet ready for the Level 3 Diploma. The course is personalised and designed to meet the individual needs of each student. The only requirement needed is passion!
Focus areas may include:

➥Learning to analyse and reflect on classes
➥Gaining confidence in group settings
➥Developing self-belief and resilience
➥Strengthening foundational dance skills
➥Overcoming fear or anxiety related to performance or training
